Meet the crazy people who pioneered Tabernacle as a creative gathered space to enable us to go much deeper with God.
JOHN E. THOMAS
John and Dawna Thomas were radically saved out of the drug culture in 1996. Personally mentored by John Paul Jackson, they have been on staff or worked alongside Streams Ministries since 2004. After John Paul passed away John began to work more closely with the Streams leadership and in 2016 was asked to become the President of Streams Ministries International.
With John's background as a pastor and minister in various settings around the world, John has a unique perspective on prophetic ministry and the global body of Christ. He desires to see the Church rise up in her authority and in the full power of the Holy Spirit, and his passion for God’s heart undergirds everything he does. He is radically committed to help the Bride of Christ respond with fervent devotion to the One who called her.
Charity is passionate about the prophetic and creativity. She loves being part of igniting creative and pioneering ways of releasing God’s Spirit in the Church and through mission. She is the Director of Streams Creative House with Streams Ministries International teaching and ministering in different nations. Her heart and calling are to help believers explore God though a depth of relationship, develop maturity through their revelatory gifts and see restoration and understanding of the creativity of God released to transform culture.
Through her first book and course ‘Limitless: God’s Creative Mandate for His People’ and various other teachings she aims to ignite the creative DNA gifted to God’s people wherever God sends her. Charity lives in Inverness, in the Highlands of Scotland, and is married to Alan with two daughters Sasha and Rhianna who are a great inspiration on the journey.
Hilary is passionate about friendship with God, how He sets us free and sets us in the Body of Christ. She loves to lead people into a greater connection with the God who is already inside them, and watch that bring deeper understanding of identity and gifting. She embraces change and challenge! Her pioneering gift has seen her in many vocations, from rescuing playgroups to being a midwife, managing events to teaching courses, but currently her focus is on teaching and training.
Hilary has been married to Andrew for 24 years and they live in a very posh 'shed' in central Scotland with their two beautiful daughters and a wee dog.
Rick and Cynthia Hayes lead North Atlantic Dreams which is the North Atlantic base for Streams Ministires International based in Scotland. They travel extensively to many nations teaching, equipping believers and spreading lashings of encouragement wherever they go. They were part of the founding core leadership of CLAN (Christians linked across the nations) and carry many years of ministry experience between them. They are all round wonders that shine very brightly for the Kingdom of God!

Atmosphere Design: Lara Thomson
"I met Charity at the first CLAN Women when I was working as an Interior Designer. My eyes were opened to Godly Creativity and Atmosphere Design and I have been on a journey with her and the Lord ever since. Through this one encounter, I went on to be the Head Intercessor for CLAN Creativity, helped Charity with her book Limitless, went with her to Dallas to film the Limitless course and subsequently have helped to teach on the course too. I also went on to lead the Creative Team at the last CLAN Women. I currently lead a Creative Prayer Cell for my home church (St Mungo's Balerno) and this February I was part of a pioneering team that went to Cambodia to explore how Creativity can be used in the fight against the injustices of sex trafficking and bonded slavery. The adventure continues...."

Live Art: Jinty McKirdy
For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed drawing and making things, leading me to specialise in Printed Textiles at Glasgow School of Art in the 1970s. At the age of 45 I came to know Jesus and longed to draw for Him, but it wasn't until 2012 at Clan Gathering that all the pieces came together during a seminar on Creativity and Prophetic Art - I felt, " at last, I've come home.’' Since then I have been involved in creative teams at New Wine Scotland and Tabernacle events. I have been blessed by so many other creatives who have encouraged me to grow in the gifting that God has given me.....loving the journey and looking forward to all that he has for me in the future. Here's a link to Jinty's art
Since becoming involved with Blue Flame 10+ years ago, she has ‘come alive’ with the knowledge that she is created in the image of Creator God, and the joy of using various creative styles to worship. In ministry, she is very passionate about fabric, both to move with during worship, and to bring a heavenly atmosphere to venues used for Blue Flame type events.
Sheila loves to support leaders, releasing them to do what they do best, and helping to turn their visions into reality. At the same time she is learning to lead in the area of Atmosphere Design at events and outreaches. She leads the Blue Flame hand massage team at mission and church events. This is no ordinary hand massage..prepare to encounter God!
